Many of those sites in DMOZ directory category would not be listed today; they were listed in the past when the bar was not so high; someone, one day, I assume will clean them out.

The number of sites listed is thedifference; the usefulness of the categories as a resource is the difference eg, I just picked one category from your site say:
http://www.amray.com/searches/Health...l_Specialties/ - its does not come close to being useful to anyone (except the webmaster wanting a link) whereas the equivalent one in DMOZ (
http://www.dmoz.org/Health/Medicine/...l_Specialties/) and Yahoo (
http://dir.yahoo.com/Health/Medicine/) are actuallly useful categorized resources for visitors.

No idea; but it was probably listed at a time when the "bar" was not as high; IMHO, it should not be listed.
