I can humbly recommend MediaTemple.net. Pricey compared to others yet I have not had the issues I had with other hosting companies in the past. Knock on wood it's been OK for the last two years.
HostGator and the likes is likely to leave a bad taste in your mouth eventually as they oversell by a lot.
