I agree. It's not hard to get on the top to promote a newly website if you are promoting it better. The higher quality, a better chance to rank up your site. Maybe domain age may have an advantage but it's better for a beginner to start on a fresh website to measure his/her perseverance and skills to promote a fresh site.
