I started with one shared hosting account and now have several. I was going to consolidate them recently and place all shared hosting sites into a dedicated server but I found it was still more affordable to keep them as shared hosting plans and I have better options (bandwidth, # domain in control panel, ect...) across the shared hosting than I would have for the same cost with a dedicated server.
