Adsenses December Dramatic Downfall

Anybody noticed that December stated like a dramatic downfall?

I have seeing in different forums, complaints from members.

Well the first 4 days sorta sucked actually with my sites. No loss in traffic or anything. You'd think with the biggest shopping month, our earnings would be up since more businesss are using adwords and bidding high.

I just looked at last years stat's for Dec. and yea, it wasn't anything to brag about.

My adsense stats, seemed to be stable. However, my CJ stats have been off since Thanksgiving. They usually are in November and December.

i check my ny stat daily but nothing to view any changes in Google Adsense and my site stat dispaly proper as usal.

I seem to remember mine going up slightly last december, however I expect the opposite to be honest what with allot of people being out shopping and the actual nature of my sites...

I think Google implemented special security and filters for this month.

I wouldnt think so. Every thing is smooth for me. Getting the same response as other months.

I only have one site makes about 200 a month on adds and i am only at 50 this month so i would say 50% decrease... I hope its not my fault and just a slow month...

A traffic decrease in December is normal for me.

Much traffic to my sites is made up of students. Now that the term is ending, they are focused on exams, end-of-term papers, etc. They don't use my sites as much, or have time to surf the Internet. So traffic from forums is down, from Google searches is down--it is all down. And it is only going to get worse for me. Right near Christmas and New Year, when everybody is either traveling, eating, partying, etc., my sites are dead. It makes me look forward to the New Year, when things get back to normal.

I think because the year is about to end and the Black Friday, Cyber Monday crazy sales is over, most adwords advertisers budget's have almost come to an end. They not bidding at all or waiting till the new "quarter" to begin there advertising with new advertising budget's.

This just my opinion from working for a company.

everyone is busying looking for the christmas gift, and therefore you can see those freebies or shopping related niche traffic shoot up. At the same time, other niche facing a huge drop

I think its coming back now. Yesterday I had major earnings

Yes. It seems there is some down fall I think due to festivals and all the problem happened. However in the new year we can make more dollars on adsense.

December has actually been better for me than November and October

Yeah my adsense income also fall down to $19-$22 per day for the two weeks.I was earning about 30-40$ on average.Is it due to the christmas fever?

I don't really have much earnings in Adsense but I have an increase in Adsense earning back in December. Affiliate increase as well but had been silenced after Christmas...

I am earned lifetime high income on December 2011..I am very happy and hope to continue this success.

December had the best success i ever met with adsense ! This may be due to high number of holidays and more browsing time of my visitors -

It may depends on keywords. Some strong and very competitive keywords are still getting good clicks.
