Privacy Policy with Google AdSense
Hey guys,
I just read today that if you use Google AdSense you must have a privacy policy in place. Otherwise you display ads and receive nothing for any clicks.
Is this true? And if it is how do I check if I have a privacy policy or not?
If I don't have a privacy policy how do i get/make one?
I haven't been making any money from AdSense in a while, which is why I'm worried.
Here is a link to my website where I use AdSense: Fangbot.com
Thanks in advance!

Thats not true. I have seen many site running google adsense and earning more without privacy policy. Place the ads in better location where the user heat is more.

I really appreciate all of the information HTMLBasicTutor, but reading the Terms and Conditions from AdSense really doesn't make anything clearer to me.
If you could just answer my questions from my first post I would greatly appreciate it.

I have seen sites run without privacy policies and Adsense. I would recommend adding a terms and conditions, and privacy policy to any site that you own. Even if it is a canned one. If anything does hit the fan, then it will be your first line of defense... even to the fact that if you are sued, what county they are allowed to file it in (you don't have to travel away for court).
Once Google taketh away, good luck getting it back....

As stated above, yes you need one. What's crazy are the recent changes required in your privacy policy if you allow third-party ad networks in your adsense account, which Google encourages you to do to generate more income.
You will have to add the following to your privacy policy:
1. Notify your site visitors of the third-party vendors and ad networks serving ads on your site.
2. Provide links to the appropriate vendor and ad network websites.
The last I checked there were 388 third-party ad networks! You'd have to list each one and locate the URL for each....REALLY? And new networks are added frequently. I think G is out of their minds! From google:
