Let's Get Started With Not Having an Adsense Account:
  • Before you jump the gun and head straight for the application/sign up process and get a rude awakening, you need to do some homework or you will flunk out of Google Adsense before you make a penny. I never flunked my tests so let's get you ready for yours. The number 1 policy to read in deetails is the AdSense program policies. How to address 'insufficient content' disapprovals on your AdSense application

Some tips to add...

Quote:
Today, we'd like to demystify one of the most common reasons why AdSense applications get disapproved: the site has insufficient content. What exactly do we mean by this, and how can you fix this issue on your site?

If a site is found to have insufficient content, this means that the site may not have enough text, and/or the site was deemed to be "under construction." To be approved for AdSense and show relevant ads on your site, your pages need to have enough text on them for our specialists to review and for our crawler to be able to determine what your pages are about. Sites that contain mostly images, videos or Flash animations may not be approved.

AdSense Plugin for WordPress (Going Away Apr - May 2017)

If you have been living under a rock like myself all my life, you may of not heard the news. The official Google AdSense plugin for WordPress is going bye bye and very very soon.

Read the news/announcement on this page:

Search for a new plugin.

My guess is that the alternative plugins for AdSense will all now compete with each other to be the number one AdSense plugin to use. Expect old plugins to be updated and new ones coming out.
