Why CJ is so popular?
Hi Everyone,
What makes CJ the most popular affiliate network ? Is it because it provides great offers to promote or because it is reliable?
Can anyone who has experience working with CJ let me know?

I personally don't like their website too much. I think if your going to offer an affiliate program on your website you should set it up on your own site, not use a third party.

I don't have much experience with them but I think some of it is because big companies like Yahoo have offers on their and they convert better just because it is a household name. I might be wrong.

First mover advantage.
CJ was one of the first affiliate networks out there, so all the big retailers that are well known flocked to them, and continue to use them simply because it's easier than starting their own.
It also provides a buffer for retailers not having to deal with a million and one affiliates... They just deal with CJ, and let CJ take care of the headache, while they focus on making their own business work.

It's popular because you can find many product to promote there. Is it reliable? It mostly depends about specific advertiser on CJ. It's always better to promote advertisers that are registered with CJ for few years.

Right, as has been mentioned the advantage of CJ is that there are so many different advertisers to choose from. With so many options you can almost assuredly find something to promote that fits your particular website.
Yes, the service is reliable in terms of making their payments. But how much you make is of course entirely up to you and the specific programs you're in on CJ.

CJ, Clickbank, and CPA
CJ pays on time, offers products that are reliable (not scams) so people feel comfortable promoting and is more like a CPA than an affiliate product site like Clickbank. (Clickbank is good and they do pay on time but....They have little control over the types of products that are sold there)
Right not I am advertising Insurace through CJ and the companies pay between $6.00-$13.00 per lead.

Now I understand afiliate marketing. If someone goes to a website through yours and buys something, you get paid.

CJ is popular because of its popular products and services.
They do lot of screening before approving a product in their affiliate network.

Plain and simple: The chances of getting ripped off by one of their affiliate programs is very slim!
