registered there.
As far as I understand, clickbank can help to sell products. I need affiliates who can provide players to the game portal (CPA - I pay for the registrations).
Any suggestions?

With out doubt clickbank is the most friendly for the purpose of affiliate marketing. Beside in this fact you don't need to worry about time. Beside there is also paypal for you to try.

Obviously you can consider joining the big affiliate programs.. Commission Junction, Share a Sale, Link Connector, Pepperjam, etc etc.
You can also consider directly contacting some of the large sites that dominate your niche to find potential affiliates.
Also, create some SEO content focused around being an affiliate program for your niche, then when people search for it they'll find you.

Assuming you already have an affiliate program in place...
The best place to start is with your site's visitors - put an "Earn Money" link at the top of your site and an 'Affiliate' link at the bottom that point to your affiliate page where they can sign up for your program and grab tools they can use to drive traffic to your site (graphic ads, PPC ads, email templates for their own lists, etc.).
If you have a mailing list, send a message out to your subscribers to entice them to join your affiliate program and make money.
Next, submit your affiliate program to lots of affiliate program directories you find on Google so affiliates will find out about your program.
If you're using a network like Clickbank, PayDotCom, etc., make sure you've got a good ad in the marketplace there that'll attract affiliates searching for new product's.
Once you get good affiliates, keep 'em by offering a reward for super affiliates. For example, you could offer affiliates who bring in 100 - 150 sales per month an extra 10%, over 250 sales an extra 20%, etc. or whatever would work as an incentive bonus.

Our main site is russian and we are rather big gaming portal in Russia already. We have some really big Russian affiliates. We did all the things you describe in Russia.
BUT we started English version of the project (another domain name and English language, but the same server with all the players there).
So, we did all the things you described in our Russian project, but we don’t want them to promote an English one. These projects will be separate.
That’s why – we do have players at our English version but we can’t use them to promote it.
I will try affiliate program directories, tnx.

Clickbank doesnt help find affiliates, it is just like a platform where you list your product. Still you need to find your affiliates yourself.

Affiliate programs vary, joining CJ could be great but remember they have high costs usual contract is 3% of your sales minimum fee of $500/month. or Shareasale is 20% of the commissions you pay to your affiliates minimum of $25/month.
There is no magic bullet that gets you affiliates. Its all about working for it. Putting yourself out there selling your program. Be like Billy Mays! Sell yourself AND your product!

some choose to play multiple affiliate programs. It can be risky though. play it right and you can make it work.
