I read several emails from marketers promoting a product.

They wrote:

"Get ready for a shocking fact...

I was reading an interview with
Clickbank's VP of Business Development
today, and in it he admitted that most
affiliates don't actually make any sales...

Clickbank has 1.2 million affiliates, and
only 110,000 of them make at least 1
sale every 3 months. The others don't
make anything at all.

And here's the really scary part:

Only 1% of the ones that get sales make
enough money to live on.

Man, that's crazy."

That's why I'm scared to SEM those products. It is very hard to make sales.

There are always some people tries to make thing different. Now this will effect the perspective of people at least a bit. So, who ever doing this they are getting what they want.

Thats the same with any affiliate program. The truth is that most people sign up with Clickbank, maybe promote one thing one time and move on, forget about it, or whatever. Nobody wants to spend the time and effort to actually make these things work, and that's what it takes.

The majority know CB and many are committing
commission robberies (swaping ClickBank ID).

I think the most of ClickBank affiliates don't work anything to make money. I have accounts there and never promoted them. Just signed up there to see what it is.

I have the CB account, too (since last year).
I think this is the big market to work.

The thing with clickbank products is you have to find your niche, and use a method that works for you - and the most important bit is to keep at it... As already said, most people give up too soon...

There is nothing shocking in this fact. Do you remember 80/20 rule? Most people who are registered on clickbank don't know how to do marketing, how to promote sites, how to build list, etc.

And you know what? That's great! Imagine how high would be competition if all 1.2 million affiliates from clickbnak would be active marketers....

Most of the clickbank afffiliates register try to promote a program or two and after a few days give up and move onto another site or program not associated with clickbank. Like you stated people who register on clickbank thinking they will earn hundreds or thousands a month are dreaming. Clickbank should delete inactive affiliates. I'm talking about the ones who have not logged into there account in over a year.

Takes time, a lot of research and well patience to earn some money with clickbank. Heck, i wasted money using PPC promoting clickbank products till i actually found what marketing methods converted well for me. If you plan to earn big then work twice as hard. I could lie and say i make $10,000 a month with clickbank but in reality i don't but make some sales here and there from some old articles i have around the internet plus i make a few posts on my blog promoting clickbank products that i believe in. I'm more into non clickbank programs since i earn more.... but i'll throw in some clickbank marketing here and there each month cause there are a lot of products i'm interested in.

Pick clickbank products that you are interested in and research that product. Type up reviews or articles to promote them instead of posting a 2 line sentence on a forum promoting it.

Have you ever read on the exponential decay lnog tail curve? This is always the trend in real life - everywhere - and the same is showing up in Clickbank. It is the case with most of the things that we see (including telephone call receiving to say the least) - the end of the tail depends on the application we are talking about - the Clickbank sales as in this case.

we need to harworking with clickbank with shocking fact. How much money you can earn with clickbank if you don't know how to promote it with a right way... you need mentoring to guides what is the wrong and right way to earn big money from clickbank...

if you pick one product that you like and interested you can earn big. but if you take all the product how can you earn big income from clickbank???

I guess these days people jump on affiliate programs to try to make money without knowing the concept of internet, that's why they failed.

It is the same thing with regular e-commerce, so many people believe the online marketers or SEM firms selling dreams.

Who did not hear: "build a website and make money" that's misleading people, that's unethical and on the top of that probably scams.

There is not such things as get rich quick shema.

Every week I've got some internet marketers trying to sell me something I don't need, such as adwords campaign, SEO. SEM, etc But listen to this, their services are made to make money off your business(nothing new there), but they don't care if their services provide you a profit or help your business, they already took your hard earned money.

totally agree, actually i think its not that bad even if only 1% makes living on clickbank, lots of people hear about affiliate marketing and clickbank and stuff they get a little excited sign up and after not being able to make any sales in first couple of weeks they simply forget about it ... and only serious marketers who spend enough time to master the trade make that 1% and i think its good ...
