How to Start Affiliate Marketing?

Hey, I'm new to this area as well, and sorry if I'm in the wrong forum for this, but I want to start a new business online with Amazon associates, and I was wondering what's the best website host for affiliates marketing?

And would I need to get the eCommerce option with the website hosting?

Info:
I'm on a budget. I would like something that doesn't plain or boring, but isn't too expensive for it. I looked at inmotion and webhosting pad.

Any tips would be great! I'm just trying to make it through this crappy economy.

I don't think your host matters that much, just shop around and pick the cheapest one you can find that fills your needs.

yeah... you can get a cheap one an start it right now and learn a lot of things about free affiliate or paid affiliates...

What you want to look for in a hosting company is customer service, that's the most important thing. I've used a number of hosting companies over the years and some were utterly a headache trust me. When you have a problem or issue it helps to actually talk to someone to assist you.

Take a look at bluehost and host gator. I've used them and pretty happy thus far. There are a number of hosting companies out there to choose from and anyone would just about do. Just do your due diligence when making your decision on which one to use.

Oh and make sure they have a control panel... another very important thing! I've used a few companies that didn't have one and it limits your capabilities.

And to answer your second question.
No, you don't need to choose the ecommerce option just the basic one is just fine to start with, you can always upgrade later if needed.

Your business and income will rely on having a stable site that does not go down. So don't simply pick the cheapest host. I recommend always researching any hosts you consider at WebHostingTalk forum to be sure they have a good reputation and not a lot of complaints.

You don't need an eCommerce option. Basic hosting should be fine. May want to get one that allows multiple sites on one account so you can grow your business without incurring extra costs.

Hosting doesn't matter. You choose hosting plan according to your budget and your needs.

I think you can do affiliate marketing with any web hosting service . you just need a reliable hosting with high bandwith ,that's all .
I'm running amazon affiliate program on my blog hosted on blogspot ( or blogger) service . Everything is ok .
I think you need to build up your own website content and recommend products on your website instead of adding an amazon ecommerce store . And tangible goods such as TV ,cellphones are easier to sell than intangible goods such as ebook .

It doen't matter much as its not the hosting company that counts -its the traffic to your site - I use Bluehost and find them really good. I don't think that free hosting domains are good as they come with lots of adverts

Start with a good host like HostGator then start building a niche content site. After you have backlinks and good rankings you can start adding affiliate links into your articles to start making money

I think it does matter - some hosting companies specialize in Windows & some on Linux hosting plans. So do some research before picking the cheapest.
