Will this PPC business model work for Affiliate Marketing?

Hi

I'm a newbie to PPC and would like to try out my first PPC/Adwords campaign...I've gone thru some Adwords basics on Google's website, so I understand how it works.

Although, what I would like to know from all you experienced marketers is: what's the best & quickest way to PPC/Afffiliate marketing success?

What are your thoughts on this business model?

1) Select an affiliate product you want to promote
2) Buy a domain name
3) Setup a landing/sales/review page
4) Do some Keyword research
5) Setup a PPC campaign
6) Collect money!!! ;o)

What would you do differently?

To get a good Google Quality Score is imperative. Most pros these days say you will get a bad score (which means sky high click price) if all you have is a landing page. You need a landing SITE with some other content, a privacy policy, an about us page and a contact us page, at the very least.

Totally agree.

A landing page and several articles which is on-topic will help you a lot in terms of Quality Score.

@kre8or: There are very important steps between your steps 5 & 6. Some of them are:

- How to do split testing your ads and your landing pages.
- How to know conversion rate of the products you are promoting.
- How to increase conversion rate.

Yip, just like what 5Star said... it's all about having a relevant PAGE instead of a just a landing page.

Other than that, it's all about trial and error. You have to lose money sometimes to make money.
