Making money in Affiliates?

Hi,

I am interested in making money in the internet. Since I am new I am in the stage of gathering information and seeking advice. I've learnt that one way of making money is choosing the right affiliate program.

It would be of great help if you could give me an idea what would suite me best . I've been through a couple of blogs doing my information gathering and came across this one http://affiliatebusinessandstrategies.wordpress.com/2009/10/09/affiliate-home-business/. Has any tried the program mentioned there? or tell me what you think of it ? will it be worth my time ? I would also appreciate if you could suggest any blogs or articles where I could get important information about on how to become a successful affiliate.

Many new people to affiliate marketing don’t know how to get started so they end up jumping in to a program or system. Generally this leads to failure and they’re looking for the next quick money maker. They can spend a lot of money and time on programs that do not work.

I've seen you post something similar and mention that same wordpress blog on other forums…
So me thinks it must really be your blog instead of one you just stumbled across and are curious about. ;-)

Most paid programs/guide aren't that great. You can learn a lot from affiliate marketing forums/blogs

As far as I know affiliate marketing is the easiest to make money online. If you target a specific niche that is in demand you can do quite well. And Adsense is good but you will need to drive more traffic to your site which can be difficult for beginners.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here. I'll be checking your suggestions. One more thing. Since I am new I was wondering what is the best free blogging site to use because I don't have one yet. And second if I'll have my own domain what is the best web hosting provider out there. I hope to hear from you soon

You can quickly sign up for a free blog site from Google's Blogger.com. It's also much easier to monitize it by plugging your adsense code to it.

There's really nothing like "the best web hosting provider." It all depends on how deep your pockets are. Since you're just starting out, why not try the free ones first. I'm not paying anything by way of hosting and I've been making it with a free blogs.
