This is not a get rich quick scheme. Becoming a success affiliate will only happen with hard work, sweat and possibly tears. However, obviously you can make a lot of money as an affiliate if you are prepared to work hard for it, nothing comes for free but find the right balance and the right attitude regarding work ethic, maintain a realistic outlook and after a few months of hard work, you WILL begin to reap what you sow.
1. Find a profitable niche market.
Find a product market that has a strong association with sales from online purchases. Research the key search figures that are required to get a basic outline of the demand for the product you wish to market. Forecast the profitability possibilities and research your competitors so you have an understand of the markets competition.

Preferably find a product market that you are familiar with and possibly actual use yourself or at the very least are comfortable endorsing. You will have to blog and write reviews regarding this product so obviously if it is a product you are somewhat passionate about this will radiate from your reviews and articles. This method has resulted in great success for affiliates in the past.
2. Evaluate your chosen niche market.
Consider a way to evaluate and understand the advantages and disadvantages of a particular market. Work out a way to score the chosen product market and decide whether or not it will be a profitable venture worth taking the plunge to next stages of affiliate marketing. Essentially you need to create your own test based on trial and error to determine which markets/products you are prepared to dedicate your hard earned money to and your undervalued time and effort. Once you have found this market and you are happy with your conclusions buy a suitable domain (or find an affiliate who will set up your site for free) and get your site hosted and ready to add content too in order to monetize your projects. I personally think it is best to create an excel database that you update regularly so you can keep on top of where you are up to regarding new blog posts, articles and so on, that you have posted online. Using this method you can set reminders, cross promote articles and generally be able to comprehend exactly where you are up to in regards to your online blog developments. 5. Find partner affiliates

It is important to do a lot of research and establish a good working relationship with anybody you choose to partner yourself with. You must understand what both parties expect from working together and you must ensure that you stick to your part of the bargain, just as you must be confident that your affiliate will be prepared to stick to theirs. There is no point working hard for an affiliate if they are not prepared to contribute to your own cause in the same way you are prepared to contribute to theirs.

Deal with any problems they may have with the product they bought, make sure they are happy with their purchase and follow this up. Try and get feedback and reviews or testimonials from these people to help use a convincer to anyone else who is looking to purchase from your site. These methods work. Build a portfolio of your clients, especially if you are offering services and try to extract as much information from them as they are comfortable to provide you with for future ventures. The better service you offer initially, the more information your customers will be willing to part with and help your cause as many will feel compelled to return the good fortune you offered in the first place.
