If you are making a living online from affiliate marketing then yes your dream is real every single day. For others, it's still just a dream and they maybe having second thoughts.

The folks who are having second thoughts about making a living doing affiliate marketing then this blog post is going to motivate you hopefully.

the promotion of the affiliate lifestyle as an easy way for anyone to make serious cash. She pointed out that most affiliates fall flat on their face making little to no money. This got me thinking…. is the affiliate dream real?

To answer this question, I decided to pick up the phone and fire up my email to reach out to a few successful affiliate marketers to get their thoughts on the reality of the affiliate dream.

Very motivational for people getting into affiliate marketing. It is not easy and it can sometimes seem like a waste of time when you're not making any sales. But, if you try hard enough you will start making money.

Its take alot of time and require patient, something that not everyone has.

The best time to start working with affiliate is when you are young since revenues start to apear after a whle and grow up with te time.

how do you get paid ?
do they send you funds through paypal?
If so , how do you set your paypal account, do you register your paypal account as a personal or business account?

I believe it is real. I have made a few sales, nothing to brag about or jump around about but knowing I am trickling in a few sales, is exciting and keep me at it to earn a few more.

It will depend on what what you are promoting, Amazon, clickbank, CBleads, CJ...some are paypal and some are checks (through Mail.) you could set up direct deposit with others. You will just need to read the payment info if/when you register for one. You will need to set up paypal...easy to do paypal.com and your off. Just remember you email address you used to sign up with because you will need that for those affiliate programs which pay through paypal.

Most won't pay until you have a certain amount in the account before paying it out to you or you being able to request it.

6 months since this was real for me. Although the results have not been up, I am sure it will be able to realize my dream.

No dream is real unless you really put your heart and soul in it. Aff marketing is not the easy way out, if you easily give up on things and have no self-discipline, then the aff marketing dream would be nothing but a dream.

I just started, hopefully could get there one day.

Dream? Feels like a nightmare sometimes! At least, a roller coaster...

Even when you're on track, it is hard to say what next month's earnings are going to be. Forget about steady budgets and save every left over penny for unexpected traffic drops and taxes at the end of the year.

Oh, and you want to avoid the "dream" that you'll be able to sit back and cash checks while you play and enjoy life. Even when I briefly got to that point, it couldn't last without motivation to continue improving. Those months of laziness just end up being offset by as even more months of overtime, literally from waking to passing out at the keyboard because you're worried that next month's sales won't be enough.

You want an easy life of luxury? Go play the lottery. You want to make a living online? Get studying and then get to work.

Anyone who is selling you an "easy way" to "get rich quick" is probably working their asses off, and the only thing they've actually got for sale is an expensive ebook that will tell you how to sell your own worthless yet expensive ebook.

So yeah, forget about the marketing guru junk and take a good look at the stuff normal people buy online - it is a growth market! Identify the affiliate offers that sell products & services that you actually believe in and use regularly. No one can make a sales pitch like a happy customer can.

I believe it is real, but no dream will come true if you don't put the effort into it. As long as people see it as easy money then for those people it is not a reality.

It worked for me and there are many ways one can earn, just exploring different possibilities that could earn affiliate commission with less competition.

I been an affiliate, and the hardest part is finding an offer that suits the traffic you are using.

as an affiliate manager, i get paid a simple salary but i make bonuses depending on how my portfolio of affiliates perform.

I can tell you one think for sure, some of my top affiliates make way more money than i do reselling the products from the company I work for!

i know it sounds trollish and you are wondering why i dont just become a reseller?

simple answer, i'm not a programmer or good with html. so building product sites is not my thing. also, i just had my first born 4 months ago and my wife would actually kill me if i left my job to persure "the dream"

all in all, i've seen first hand the dream some are living...

If the ads and content are the same, and you get traffic, then you can get some clicks. I just started monetizing my blog using a cool affiliate system that pays out 100% commissions. It's super easy to get it up and running for you.*

Our first affiliate with our makeup site, L.A. Minerals, generated 20k in sales in her first month! So, she earned 2k in commission. Of course this is someone that's young, pretty, and actually uses our product, likes it, and has a bunch of followers/fans on her blog and facebook page.

I'm new to affiliate marketing and the post was almost like a reality check you have to work hard to see results the quick get rich schemes are all fake. Like nick mentioned in the post I have had to overcome my fear to spend money to test an idea as well before I finally got started. I still have made zero sales to be honest but I haven't done much only spent around 5-6nights working at it, but that’s changing now. I'm dedicating more time now because I want to see some results to motivate me more so the dream can become real for me one day.
