Affiliate Marketing promoting steps
I would like to collect some good Affiliate promotion steps which will help to increase the earning by using the Affiliate program available in the market, like how to increase the sales from the affiliate links, how to attract peoples to actually purchase the product from the affiliate. If you have any good example for affiliate link positioning/placing on the web site than please post it as well but please do not spam fake URLS for promotion.
Awaiting for good suggestion.

Right now I am using russell brunson dot com sercets x program and he teaches you IM from the ground up.
Day 2 3 training- number 1 way to get optin and leads quick is paid solo ads.
the day 4 training he teaches joining free safelist sites and send solo ads with a link to your squeeze page (this is how I got 94 optins to my list)
Day 16-18 Then you have your review website and buying backlinks to it from fiverr
day 22 forum marketing. But the number one way and fastest (this is what I use) join as many safelist sites as you can and submit solo ads as often as you can.
google 'Dot Com Secrets x - how I send my ads to safelist sites" to see video

You might want to search for an e-book about this. Web search won't bring you much. There's a thread on here that someone started recently, and they had some good ideas. Let me find the thread and I will come back and link to it for ya.
Okay...check out this thread: http://www.v7n.com/forums/affiliate-marketing-forum/278192-how-recruit-more-affiliates.html

Basically you want to sign up for high converting offers that you, yourself, would actually buy. If you wouldn't buy the product or service then what's the point of promoting it?
Once you have an offer that is worth promoting, then get creative in marketing your affiliate links and create your own Ads to drive traffic to the offers.

To make any kind of money from affiliate marketing, you need to have niche traffic. Targetted traffic = Money. No traffic, don't bother signing up with any network / publishers, if you do not have targetted traffic.

Find products that people are looking for or you have knowledge in= your niche, I've just recently started affiliate marketing and am trying to learn everything possible. Provide quality reviews and info regarding the products you are promoting and place links throughout the page. Like alemcherry mentioned you need targeted traffic to your website, that’s what I’m working on right now. To get targeted traffic you have to do some SEO for the keywords relating to your products.

I hate how these always turn into people just promoting their own affiliate products instead of giving useful advice.

I don't see that happening in this thread. Got any other advice to share?
If people want to self promote in here they will end up in trouble as the sticky thread states "do not self promote"

Web Hosting is a Good Niche
Web hosting is indeed a good niche too. I heard that 20,000 a month are added to forums a month and 150,000 people a day are added to the internet. This is a old stat though from 2009. Probably way more now. They need hosting too.

Just don't go after lose weight programs as many of these affiliates can end up in a legal case. In a nutshell, don't go for anything that can relates to drugs.

tips on affilate marketing
I like the advice in affiliate marketing, but I do have question. The person who sold you the product says that even his grandmother can do it. Yes if she didn't want to make any money. I have been in safelist for about 6 weeks. Oh course, I can see my money dwindling away. I also have a program to help build up the pr ranking, comments on blogs, and forums. I was just wondering what else I could be doing to help my niche.

Anyone that says "there grandma can do it" is lying to you. You need to be able to see through the sales pages or sales pitch's and figure out if you are being feed a bunch of B.S.
In fact, if you want a good laugh tonight, check out this website (not mine but I post it when people talk about ebooks that claim to make you rich and famous) www.buymystupidebook.com
6 years ago, I paid $12 a month membership for a safelist, I was typing up some good emails that I thought would get some clickthroughs at least but it turns out most of the emails was fake emails or throwaway emails people use. Next to nothing was getting opened up. Also I had no clue what niche's the people was into so I couldn't cater my emails to something they was interested in buying. It was a waste of money after 1 year for sure. I learned my lesson not to fool for some stupid sales pitch's that safelists was a gold mine.
It's better to build up your own email list in which each person OPT's into your list and already knows that they will be getting emails in certain niche's and other tips that you explained up front before signing up to your list. You'd have a better chance at making money with this type of list.

affiliate marketing
Thanks I have been build email list from the niches. I like the buymystupidbook. I just want to see if there was something else I could be doing. I kind of get down because I am not making any money. But I do have people sign up to my email list. Just want it to be bigger than it is. So I will keep grinding til it get there.

I take it you know a lot about the web hosting industry right?
Why not join other web host affiliate programs and type up reviews on your blog after you do research on them online. The reviews don't always have to be good ones but people like hearing honest reviews online. (Yet, they might still purchase the hosting through your affiliate link)
I belong to 3 web hosting affiliate programs but I've actually once used them for hosting before so I have a good idea what there operation is about. I use a wordpress plugin called "simple URL's" to shorten up my affiliate link URL's and also I can tell how many times the link was clicked as well. Sometimes I don't shorten my affiliate links and just use the typical anchor text link to mask the ugly URL.
I've seen no difference in converts if masking the URL or not. It's the content is what get's the visitor to click on the link and purchase. I'm not an expert in the hosting niche so I hardly ever write about these hosts or stay up to date with changes in there business..etc
Pick a niche that you know a lot about and learn more about it. Put up banners on your website, type up reviews or write about changes in there company.
