Capture Page? Yes or No?

Are you using the webpage given to you by the affiliate marketers, whose affiliate marketing programs you have joined, only, or do you do something else with a capture page of some sort, and what is it you do?

I think most people try to integrate the affiliate links and banners into their existing websites. Contextual text links are very effective at driving targeted traffic to an affiliate product.

The merchant supplied landing pages are probably useless for most people. I could be wrong but I like to avoid them.

I have always been a fan of the capture page, but recently I have been sending people to my sales page after we overhauled the sales page. We are getting good conversions. What are you looking for? New optins to your auto responder, or new enrollments or sales. If your sales page is getting a good conversion and you can drive enough traffic to your site, I think you are better off just using the sales page.
