Commission Junction question regarding URLs to use!

1. I noticed that Commission Junction offers only banners & text links for their promos which has unique URLs inside in order to track each individual banner/text link performance for stat reasons.

What I need is just plain URL with my Commission Junction ID. inside which I can use for my own text links to make or place behind images I create myself. Other networks for example give you also plain URL with affiliate ID. inside which you can use for whatever purpose!

- Anyone who has experience with Commision Junction offers can tell me where I can find this plain URL as explained within my account?

The reason why I am asking is because the offer I want to promote through Commission Junction shows only 'flash' banners & I prefer not to place those 'flash' banners on my site offered by Commission Junction. Personnaly, I like banners without 'flash'!

2. Other question I have is that I can use 'confirmed' offers by Commission Junction advertisers like banners also for my other websites then the one I used when requesting to use that particular offer OR I have to submit again request to promote that particular offer for my other site as well!

I also noticed that CJ is using different URLs for different banners same offer sometimes!

Are you also able to answer my 2nd question as well?

I would say you can use the URL:

Can you explain how CJ works for me? I manage an informational type site for a company, but have never done an affiliate type site. Is the following how this works?

Some company, say Sheraton Hotels contracts with CJ to send them leads.

I set up a CJ account.

I write a web page pitching a Sheraton Resort in the Caribbean with a "for more info click here CJ link"

That link takes the site visitor to Sheratons site and CJ charges Sheraton for a click.

You can modify the URLs, but some adcertisers mind if you change the URL. Its always good to seek their permission, they usually reply quickly.

Bill, it depeds on what the Advertiser is offering, some Advertiser give you a percentage comission for the sale that came from a link on your site. Others simply pay you if the users follow your link and merely sign up for free; Other advertisiers like Price Runner pay you if the visitor from your site went to their site and then clicked on any of their affiliate stores/.

If you want to make huge money with CJ i would reccomend starting a paid to site offer your members 50% of the cash you earn for the signup they do or purchases etc kinda like greasypalm
