What would you like to see in an affiliate program?

I've just opened up my site to affiliates and want to add more to it.

Here are some of my ideas, what are yours?

- A Free Content area with promo items (articles, emails, banners, etc.) to help affiliates promote the site.

- Different Landing Pages. I'm going to create a system where the affiliate can choose the landing page. If they want to give the visitor a discount they can have a discount coupon page, or even flexible payment tersm.

One idea that I just added is monthly payments. Instead of paying $94 the visitor can pay $9.95 per month for a year.

Hi there,

Your affiliate landing page should have a mention (bullet point) that it includes tools and training material (How to use Google adword, Ezines, Linking, Blogs, etc.) to promote and advertise your landing pages for your new members. It's very important. If it's already built in your program, great. Lots of affiliate programs have limited training tools to promote and advertise.

Remembre to ask yourself the following question: Once you enroll a new member, what can they do to promote their own landing pages, even if it's personalized? Can your system train your downline to train their own downline via the system? It has to be duplicatable in a certain way.

Lots of people in this industry are green as grass. Maybe you personaly know how to promote online but everyday, new people are brought in this industry and don't have a clue where to start or what to do to grow their business. Unless you target experimented network marketers who knows how to promote online.

Sorry, just want to add that you already have a maketing tools section, you should develop it further for your future new members. Some say that affiliate programs should have a "buffet" of tools to use to promote their business.

Thanks for the response. I started with affiliate marketing in 1996 so I'm used to doing a lot of things myself (and sometimes prefer that).
