Splash pages not always look attractive. My opinion, they they do not benefit, and in most cases they spread peoples attention. IMO

Have a great day,

Googalistics? What's that? I searched Google for that term, it can't find it.

Have a great day,
Peter

What kind of traffic they generate, is it artisicial or natural targeted trafic? Have you used their service yet? And how much do they charge for such service?

Have a great day,
Peter

I would have to disagree. I once saw a published report on the top AdSense producers and the #7 spot was held by Joel Comm at around $25K per month. Now that's nothing to sneeze at, but there are MANY MANY affiliate marketers that earn several times that.

If you look at my link, I do own an affiliate program, but I got my start as an affiliate marketer. I still do affiliate marketing and PPC... affiliate marketing (at least for me) is easier and pays better.

When you research on what affiliate programs to go for, always take into consideration the market you are targeting - as they are the ones who will make the conversion on your site. Also, always try to pick one that you you have knowledge on. Providing more than the product itself is a big plus - useful info, good advice and post sale customer support will give you more customers via referrals.

After that, it would also depend on how you market your product to the right market. This is also a factor to be greatly considered in determining your success. IMO, when you want to earn big, you should be ready to spend for it as well.

I always opt for PPC to reach my target audience. Knowing how this system works would work to your advantage. Research (keywords), Selection(keywords and PPC provider), Implementation (bidding and start-up) and Analysis (which keywords worked best and cost vs. revenue).

Just my thoughts, hope it helps out

Ok, AdBrite? I disagee from my own experience.

Google Adwords, Yahoo PN, MSN Adcenter all the way for PPC. But educate yourself first. Don't bid a lot at first until you learn the ropes.

I agree that internet advertising is very expensive and does not product much results for the buck.

I'll just keep with the linking methods then.

Thanks
