hated my job. wanted to work from home... went home looked up "work at home" on google .. found some stuff about drop shipping. looked like too much work. the ebook i bought about drop shipping mentioned affiliate marketing just sort of as a side point... i got into that (hotels mostly at the beginning) ... i quit my job a few months later.

I've always been interested in making money online. I chose affiliate marketing because I didn't have my own product and I thought for a complete beginner it was good starting point.

it all started with an ad in the local paper. in 1999!
They needed a sales person to buy traffic for their software.
Almost 9 years and 3 companies later, i'm still here and still love it as the first day!

I enjoy doing it. I learned web designing and then got into affiliate marketing as soon as I realised about it. Monetized my first site and started making money and got more involved in it after that. Quit my job after 3 years of doing it and 4 years from there I have been working fulltime since.

Hated my job. I don't like being told I have to be somewhere at a certain time to do something I hate. I got scammed by work at home scams a bunch of times. I started learning what these scammers were actually doing, which was affiliate marketing (in a scammy kinda way). I just kept learning I'm still learning, but the main thing I learned was that scamming people isn't the way to go. Selling legitimate products is far more profitable and much less stressful. So that's what I do now.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and i'm a lazy *******.
