1st let me apologize to the mods. So SORRY! After I posted this I found an old PM I didnt get an email about and didn't read it until after I just made this post. The PM was a warning about linking to a news Story I did about Mark Cuban launching and affiliate program for Facebook. It was a pretty big news story, I broke and didn't know I could not link out to my site for important news like that.
Then I just posted above about the new AdCenter Affiliate Program. I am the official Microsoft spokesperson for this new program, so linked to the official program announcement at my blog.
Really sorry. I didn't know you can't link out at all even to press releases and industry news.
I run a forum so know what's its like to moderate and I honestly didnt know it was against the rules.
You can delete the Microsoft post all together. Or link instead to the official press release that is on PR WEb, so your readers can still benefit from the info without linking to my site.

Again, I'm very sorry.
briggidere - the program just launched and some of the policies may be ammended over time. If you know anything about me, I'm an affiliate advocate and want to see you guys get paid for any sale you deliver. But I don't manage this program, am just in charge of PR. A fairly big UK blogger just blogged with the same complaint, so I did let the powers that be know about the concern. Thanks for the feedback!
