Hello experts,

I am newbie in internet world, I follow your steps and moving forward step by step. but I have one problem, i have one blog on Latest News... from some days I am receiving lots of spam comments. what should I do? I receive 50-70 daily, it is very irritating... :-(

Which blog are u useing like wordpress or blogsopot,
if wordpress so use akismet plugin thats a good way to block spammers

Or try This u can band the spammers ip address range

yes... you can download plugin akismet or plugin spamm karma 2 to your blog. it's help very powerful.

I think you should delete those comments. It will make your blog dirty.

Spam comments are really a pain in the ass.. really an eyesore. But I take my time in reviewing them, I have my own standards of identifying spammy comments from "okay" comments.

use captcha... also we need to know what platform your blog is on (wordpress?)

Blog moderation is really a must on this part. Blog comments are good but we should not abuse this thing.

you can also implement captcha in your comment system, that will prevent auto-spammers.

akismet plugin together with captcha can save you somewhat. I used to get around 40 per day. after I have activated akismet it slowed down quite a bit.
