RSS Feed Directories

Has anyone ever had any experience with RSS feed directories or related websites?

I just found some last night and submitted my blogs RSS feed to a few. Was wondering if anyone ever saw an increase in traffic from them, or are they just a backlink increaser.

I submitted a couple of my blogs to technorati.com and I am getting several backlinks from there. The links are showing up in the google command link:site name and in my google webmaster tools.

As for the traffic, I am not seeing too much from those links. But they are still links, and links are good.

So my answer is yes. If you should submit your RSS feed to whatever feed directories you can. Unlike a regular directory where you might get one backlink. With a feed directory, you might get dozens of backlinks.

Hi, You can use Blog submission & ping for better results. definitely RSS submission is helpful for bring traffic.

RSS feeds and directory submissions can help with web pages getting crawled and indexed in a faster and better way but I really doubt if some noticeable traffic streams are going to be achieved this way but like directories, such one way links can be useful to some extent.

I have submitted my blogs to few rss directories and I find them effective for increasing my blog's traffic

You'll get more traffic from pings than you will rss feeds unless you know of a source of rss feeds that isnt over-crowded with thousands of other blogs feeds.

The point is syndication is going to be the next big thing if it is not already. You never know where your content is getting linked. As somebody said above, Links are good.

Completely Agree with you and i also wants to suggest the blogcatalog.com for Traffic i already got 65+ traffic from blogcatalog.com every single day. but you have to post content regularly for getting traffic.

You must have been submitting to bad directories then. Researching and submitting to good ones will definitely provide you traffic as well as free backlinks.
