How to promote my blog?

hi
i have a blog koolblog4.blogspot.com . It has good content such as movies,books,storys from my life,intresting widgets,good links, and stuff like that! i cant promote it though. i want 50 or more unique viewers per day! can you post on this thread and help me. tell ur friends about my blog? somehow help me out cuz im stuck. not only with just my blog but my webs to like google search awesomefun3 , thats my website but i need people to search that. please please help me!!

A few tips:

1. Submit and be crawled by as many search engines as humanly possible.
2. Submit your RSS feed to rss directories.
3. Join social networking sites such as Twitter.
4. Join social bookmarking sites such as Technorati.
5. Do link exchanges with people.

Just some tips.

Blogging is usually not a high returning area. If you enjoy doing it, it is ok else there are better ways to making money.

Blogging can be looked at as a hobby or professional journalism. For example, thousands of blogs can be found reflecting personal experiences and interesting stories to read while other resources too can be spotted containing technical information about some web topics and subjects and usually, such blog sites can be monetized in a great way through having Google ads displayed on them. You need to think about the ideas you'd like to write about and also research for finding which topics people are interested in reading about.

Do SEO on it, add some meta tags and research on your keywords...here is a good read to start on

social bookmarking,
by forums (use link in signature or in post)
article submission,
blog commenting on related niche blogs.

Try to find relevant blogs/websites and send the webmaster a request to exchange links. I have a political blog and i look for link exchange all the time.

Can someone tell me if i am allowed to post my email address on this forum to find people to exchange links? i know that other forums will remove your post if you post a email address or a link.

Optimize your blog. The keyword that you should use on your metas must also related to your url. Which is more easier for you to target you kw rankings. You can also join to a social networking site to promote your blog.

You have a blogspot blog so[ [url removed] my blog might help you . Have a look if it can work for you. Check the posts around and use the simple SEO methods for promoting your blog

I think by promoting (do you mean branding or traffic?) he's talking more about branding and social interactions on his blog. Within this wish I can say that social media like twitter, digg or good content will help you. Build a comunnity on your blog, comment on people, see who comment on you and so on. Comunity is brandind and social media, seo is for traffic and money.

Let me clear thing here. I didn't try to promote anything. Anything that seems helpful can be pasted here ( as i believe) respective to thread. If i paste a helpful link of some other person's blog than you will take it as a help and if i paste a helpful link of my own website, relevant to thread than you will take it as a spam. Is it right?

It's not a selling thing or exchanging also, so why to put this in market place?
