To get traffic to your blog you should share your blog post using social media sites and submit your blog & feed in blog/ rss directories, there are also many other method to get traffic which you can find through searching relevant thread in this section.

I don't think that getting traffic from free traffic providing sites is worth. There are also some sites that uses automated software to post your content on several relevant blogs including yours and their links. I think google may consider this technique as unethical. You should work on the above things mentioned by bob.

Better would be search other ways to get real traffic on your blog via Search engines or PPC or other advertising methods.

I think what momin was trying to say is 'traffic exchange'? Mostly this technique is frowned upon because of the numerous click frauds But adult sites loves the traffic exchange technique.

Anyway, organic traffic is better but harder to attain because you have to gain high ranking in SERP for your targeted keywords, especially if the niche is very competitive.

If you have adsense ads on you site then don't bring it because its against Adsense TOS.

I suggest not to take part in any kind of schemes where you are promised to get traffic. Such traffic is just like automated traffic. The conversion rate will be almost zero.

Such traffic will not help you earn more money from your site. It will just waste your bandwidth.
