how to do blog promotion?

many times , i am very confused that how to do the blog promotion, the more url you add in the article the better? i have read some articles about blog promotion before, i think the main important point is that maintain the blog update,I have learned some ways from others blog which has been included in google, but still very confusing, can you help me?

It's better if you could only put 3 to 5 link in one article. Because many link will be obviously spamming.

blog promotion is the same as promoting any other website. It must have quality, opitmized content, build backlinks to it, and use the tools blos have in them to get tags, keywords etc in them and then ping them.

Just do social bookmarking and article submitting. Nowadays you cant get backlinks without buying them and Google frowns upon it. Most sites are going nofollow so it doesnt leave us many options.forum sigs and directory submissions are no good any more either. You can try to find the few blogs out there that are still dofollow but good luck. If you find any make sure to leave a good comment or they will not approve it.
Article submissions are pretty good though. Submit articles and build links to those pages. Use social bookmarking sites to bookmark those pages so the get indexed quick.

I think that promoting a blog is more easier than a website because there are lots of option for you and the main thing is your content. Always write a unique and attractive content which could grasp the attention of your visitors. I think you should more focus on content and you can also promote it through different SEO strategies which we usually do for our websites.
