How to promote my Blog?

Hey Friends, Happy New Year to all of you here!

I"ve recently launched a Tech Blog and umm.. I'm pretty confused about how to get more PR, increase Blog traffic, and at the end of the day earn a good amount of $$. Although earning is not a primary motive.. First priority is to get 'keyword rich content maximization'.

So, I need you Guys' expert advice!

Write good content for your site and don't fret so much about page rank; it'll take care of itself. That's what I read recently about getting your blog recognized by google.

I can't seem to find your reply about link exchange (the notification email i got in my gmail).

Anyway, i see your blog's about blogging itself. So you may want to exchange links with similar blogs for better relevance.

I removed that part. We do have a link exchange section in our marketplace the OP can create a thread in. The blog promotion section is not for asking members to do link exchanges.

It will take some time, but supply your blog with good quality content, and become fans of other similar blogs. Make friends and create a community with your competition.

I agree with Rachel, you really need to build relationships with other blogs/bloggers. Start by becoming a part of their community and leave comments on their posts.

For one keep writing Killer content. The current users will refer others and that is how your traffic will improve slowly and slowly. Use other blog promotion methods like article marketing, forum posting, offline promotion etc. All the best

Bookmarking, forum posting, directories submission is best technique for increasing traffic.

Making a blog popular must be your end goal
Select a key word rich domain name
Select a good host
Write at least 400 word posts
Make use of internal back links
Then
Start publishing your blog links all around the web.
