Great post - while you discuss optimizing blog posts, you're mainly focused on the web crawlers which as an SEO pro is of course who we tend to go after so we can be found, but it's also important to keep the human element in the back of your mind. You want to make sure your readers are able to understand what you're writing about and not get turned off by obvious keyword stuffing or blatant SEO attempts.

I have a couple of comments about this blog post.
1) First of all, the content. It's a pretty concise, but at the same time, very complete overview of what is important and needs to be included or considered in any blog post that you make. It covers all the bases but is very readable too. I didn't get distracted, nor did I lose interest.
2) Second, the structure of this post can be used as a model for anyone wanting to know how to write a good blog post. Short, concise, useable content is the currency of the web.

Great post. Content really matters as far as blogging is concerned. Now a days getting a quality article is pretty much difficult
