Blogger and nofollow
One common method of blog promotion is for bloggers to post comments on other related blogs. Typically the comment poster's name becomes a link back to their web site. This can help with page rank. But Blogger.com's links for commenters have rel="nofollow". This is to help prevent comment spamming.
So just be aware that if you're posting comments to Blogger in hopes of improving PR you're likely wasting your time. If you're posting relevant comments that relate to your blog (and I hope you are), then put a link directly in the comment so interested readers will follow. That'll do more to help your traffic.

Actually, the nofollow is to reduce google index the spam page. If you're posting link on blogger blog you will have the traffic too, just Google will not catch the site, If I;m correct?

John mentioned this in one of his blog entries and teh ability to run this function off. If I remember correctly using the nofollow reference was included in the latest release of WordPress as well.
Nevertheless, hopefully you are leaving comments for other reasons, rather than just for link backs.

I'm trying out the dofollow plugin for WordPress....
it's a win win... trackbacks have more weight to them, And I get more comments... and since it's moderated I don't allow any spam
or any of the... this should be great fun link LOL...

That is a good idea. I don't like the non follow thing one bit. It makes no sense to me. If a comment is valuable enough to be seen by humans, why not let the search engines see it as well. What I hate more than anything is "link greed". Give people links for crying out loud. God knows we're all getting links ...

Thanks, that is cool to know.
And also a reason I'm starting to like my Blogger blog more than my wordpress blog. One gets zero spam comments and one gets 20+ spam a day. Can you guess which?

I really hate the idea of 'nofollow' as well, not only because it harms legitimate commenters etc but it seems a bit like doing the SE's work for them.
I've installed this wordpress plugin to fix it - you don't even need to edit a single file.

It goes against Google's advice to disregard search engines and build a site as if search engines didn't exist

SEOs are such sheep, they just go by what someone they look up to does, and don't question a thing. I say no no follow .... be a follower ... I mean ... you get the drift
dude, I like your directory

Sheep might be a bit harsh, but I do find the various aspects of web development that are 'fashionable' to be a bit cringeworthy, but then that's probably another topic altogether.
Cheers about the directory.
