I've been utilizing BlogMad for traffic generation for a few of my blogs and it's actually worked pretty favorably and allows me to get a fix on what else is out there. But, what they offer beyond delivered traffic is the ability to purchase text links via the credits you earn. In turn for displaying their text link script, you earn credits.
What makes me giggle like a school girl is that these links are considered backlinks, showing up in Google, MSN, and Yahoo. It's a little scary how many backlinks I built up in a short amount of time.
At any rate, just a suggestion to check it out. If I'm not mistaken I think BlogExplosion offers something like this too. In addition, for the record, you don't have to offer the text links on your blog to get the back links.
