Want free links & promotion for your IM blogs?

Hi folks,

I hope it's ok to post this here, since it has to do with both marketing and blog promotion...

I'm in the process of setting up a site similar to Tailrank.com, Techmeme.com, Megite.com, etc. that will focus strictly on internet marketing news.

I'm looking for top quality contributors who would like their Internet Marketing related blogs listed as a source of news on this new site.

By top quality, I mean your blog must consist of original content written by you and updated at least twice a week. The subject matter of your blog must be about some aspect of internet marketing, like online marketing in general, SEO, affiliate marketing, email marketing, search marketing, reviews, commentary, etc.

Here's how it would work:

1. I add your blogs to my list of contributing sites.

2. My software would poll your feeds every 4 hours or so and look for new posts. Alternatively, I'd give you a url to the xmlrpc interface for my site and you'd be pinging automatically every time you post.

3. Whenever posts are made on your blogs, a snippet of those posts show up on my site, along with links both to your main page and the individual entries.

As I mentioned, I'm only looking for quality sites to add as contributors. This site will be a legit news source for IM'ers, not just another scraper.

My software is still very much in BETA mode so at the moment I can not accept blogs that use only ATOM feeds, like Blogger.com (blogspot) or feeds that have server-side redirects of their feeds through a service like Feedburner. This is temporary and I'm working on adding this functionality.

I have to be able to access your main feed directly.

What's in it for you?

Right now, you'd get PR5 inbound links to both your site's main pages and deep linking to new posts - on a very dynamic, on-topic site.

In the future when the site grows in popularity, you'll get extra exposure for both yourself and your site as top quality, credible sources of Internet Marketing news and information.

You can also have your site removed at any time if you feel the need.
