I have a
Paintball blog and although I do have an interest in the sport, I am not the most knowledgeable of people when it comes down to writing decent, informative content. Therefore I decided to seek some help.
There are a variety of different Paintball forums around, some of which happen to be
quite large, so I contribute to a lot of them to help promote my blog. I had the idea to actually ask if anyone was interesting in writing for the blog, so I decided to
request help. This wasn't a cry for help; it was more of an experiment. I didn't really expect anyone to be interested.
Paintball is a sport played by many people and the people who are serious about the sport are extremely passionate. This was evident as I had a lot of people offering to help out with writing content. The only incentive was that the author's name would appear on the blog, and to some, this was very appealing.
I am now managing 3 writers who help maintain the blog, updating it regularly with informative and interesting content. Sure, I have to edit the blog posts every now and then to ensure the content is suitable, but I've had no real problems.
If your particular niche is something that people feel strongly about or have a real passion for, it may be worthwhile to seek assistance. You'll be surprised at the amount of people who are willing to offer their services.
