What some good way you guys have promoted you blogs, and every time technorati indexs a bllog post, does that count as a backlink through google?

im promoting my blog by sig. and also by leaving a comment in others blog. And each time i get a good article i will submit it in digg. This can increase our blog visitor if our article is enough to attract reader.

You can get a few instant backlinks from commenting on other related blogs and being listed in some of the blog directories.

Have your blog as your signatures in forums and be sure to submit your blog site to blog directory site or any related site..

i usually bookmark and ping my blog everytime i have new post..

Forum sigs is a nice way to promote your blogs. You may try also submitting some articles to directories for more exposure

Forum signature seems to be the primary blog promotion techniques people have here.

I also do forum signatures. I also do directory links. I also do Social bookmarking. Here are a few more.

* Article Submissions
* Buying Links
* Review Exchange
* Link Exchange
* Buying Reviews
* Joining Blogosphere

squidoo is an excellent resource to use if you are selling a product or marketing a service. You can use Squidoo to discuss some of the topics on your site and link to them through there, but thats honestly not what the squidoo service is supposed to be used for.
