make sure you already optimize onpage and offpage of your site seo..and since you use wordpress dont forget to install plugin such as sitemap, UTW, and also don't forget to check you visitor report. You should know from which country your visitor came and which keyword are related with your site.

That's great for Wordpress. BUT what about folks that uses Blogger? Where do I even Start? I have NO clue about where to start to optimize my blogger blogs. Help

I think you should submit your blog in blog directories and blog search engine such as technorati.com

If I were you I would start optimizing WP by editing its files. In default there are some useless h3 tags, and sometimes the themes don't provide valid code. With editing you can increase the weight of your desired KWs.

When the onpage factors are well optimized, I would start link building with directory submission and so on..
