Setup for Digg

Alright, I have been searching non stop for the last 12 hours on how to setup digg dot com.

I am trying to submit my blog on to their website.

They ask for the url of xml-rpc of your blog.

What is this?

I thought it was my rss feed, but they say that this is incorrect.

I am going crazy at this point.

I use addthis dot com for my rss feed setup. I believe that this is my problem and does not work with dig dot com.

Not sure if we can submit rss at digg like technorati -- can anyone clear the picture ?

The Google Blog Search Pinging Service API allows users who frequently update their blog to programattically inform Google Blog Search about changes to their blogs. Blogging provider admins can also use this API to notify Google of changes to blogs on their platform(s). To set up automated pinging of Google Blog Search, create either an XML-RPC Client or a REST Client which sends requests as noted below. It doesn't matter which method you choose for notification; both are handled in the same way.

I was doing the same thing today. Depending on what type of blog You have though. I use Serendipity. In the root folder of Your blog there should a file with xmlrpc in it's name and it should end with the php extension.
Just enter the path to it at the Digg and all is good.


BTW I go to this site they have a great pinging service there. And it's free.
