i think the best way to promote your blog is to submit it to blog search sites and directories then put your blog in your sig, link to other blog, social bookmarking and most of all be an active commenter...

great info guys. i do directory submission and link exchange to promote my blogs. but of course, i good content is the most important thing for your visitors to visit your site again.

You're right leciram and also make sure to update your blog at least every other day and don't forget to Ping your blog coz it create some connection to other update services to let them know that your blog has been updated.

Do not only rely on submissions, also update your blog content frequently for you to grab more visitors to your site.

Yes you're exactly right... In addition, just make your blog eye-catching and enjoyable to read. Make the content informative to let the reader stays longer on your blog.

Promotion is an ongoing thing just update regularly with fresh content and continue link building burning your feed through feedburner.com would not do any harm either it will make it easier for your readers to subscribe.
