I have since taken the widget off of my site despite having 4 referrers and what not. The service just didn't work out like I expected it to.

I still cannot gain access to my full blogrush stats so will have to wait and see.
I have not noticed any real difference in my blog traffic though yet, but it does not seem to have harmed it either so still prepared to give it some time.

i'm giving it a few weeks, they are working on weeding out the abusers of the system - basically it was launched way too early before being put through a good stress test on the system. Let them shake out some of the bugs and it will probably get better. although i'm skeptical on it.

I've read on many blogs about how they signed up for blogrush but were disappointed because they had accumulated so many points but still got only a click or two. I'd say forget blogrush, and go for alternatives... submit to digg, join myroomie.net, add meta tags so you get more clicks from search engines, etc.

You should of received an email detailing this information. Your account was not banned but merely set to inactive. Apparently, one of the human reviewers for BlogRush thinks your site does not meet one of their quality guidelines. If you think your in the clear after reviewing their guidelines, I would send them an email asking why you are place in the inactive section.
A number of bloggers have published posts of disgusts because of the errors that so many of their reviewers have made.

i have tried blogrush and is in my blog right now. blogrush can give traffic to my blog but i am not sure if it is for long time. i have heard that blogrush is strict in approving a blog and you need to follow their strict guidelines.

Has anyone here used it, is it OK and does it work? Would appreciate your opinions. I was considering trying it but wanted to know what you guys think

Seems they've too many users now, but I don't understand if a particular blog does not meet their quality guidelines why they have approved it on first attempt.

Don't bother -- personally I think the widget looks rubbish, the relevance is not good and their acceptance guidelines / approval process is very poor, slow and poorly administered.

I have heard about it and I am planning on using it soon so that the blogs that I'm partially involved with can get some quality traffic.

I've been trying them for the past few days but haven't had any good results. Since so many people are using them I thought i would also give it a shot. I'll give it a month, if it doesn't improve I'll get rid of it.

I used but never was able to get any traffic with that service, So had to remove it from my blog. Also there are many blog posts that the service can be cheated.

Well I dont know. I don't think it has yet made any real difference to my blog. I think the "health" category is too broad for relevance and needs to be tightened up.
The most recent e mail from them was talking about making improvements... I'm prepared to hang in there a bit longer. Maybe it was rolled out a bit early?
Cannot just rely on one method though. Agree with crumblepie "submit to digg, join myroomie.net, add meta tags so you get more clicks from search engines, etc."
