* Use Reciprocal Links.
The term reciprocal link means that your blog and another related work at home business blog both has a link pointing to each other. It is a sort of a co operation.You can optain the reciprocal links by taking contact with certain sites and suggesting the co operation or you can join some link exchanging, free service which collects the contacts. These both system gives the possibility to select the links but are rather slow ones.
* Join The Bloggers Groups.
The big search engines have a lot of special groups, where you can join with your work at home business blog. By writing some quality post you can get traffic to the blog and some backlinks.
* Writing Marketing Articles.
Writting articles will bring a lot of backlinks rapidly, if the writer uses a mass distribution system to hundreds or thousands of websites and article directories. optimize each article by the keywords and, which is the most important thing, put your name, keyword and link into the author box. A mass distribution means a lot of dublicated content which means that these widely distributed articles will not climb to the first places on the result pages of the search engines but will work effectively by bringing a lot of visitors and backlinks for your work at home business.
* Forum Posts.
Forums work well for blogs too, when you will have the url of the blog in the sigfile. One tactics is to use the forum as a teaser and conduct the traffic to the blog. Every single post builds credibility and does the preselling work. When the blog url is in the sig file, every post build a backlink to the blog.The posts can also be optimized, which makes it possible for the search engines to rank them on the result pages.
* The Quality Makes The Blog The King.
The most effective short and long term backlink builder is the quality content of the work at home business blog. This means that a blogger must take the blog seriously. It is not a diary but a business tool. When blog visitors like the content, they will bookmark the blog or even quote the posts, which both mean a good amount of backlinks, visitors and a nice image.
If you use "dofollow" you just have to be strict about allowing comments on your blog. It's pretty easy to keep the comment spammers out if you use a blacklist.
For me, the most important to build blog backlinks is making marketing articles.
Since articles contains ideas relevant to what the site is advertising, it is an effective way to build links. By writing informative articles and submitting it to several article directories, SEO informs and convince their customers that the products they are selling would be useful for them. When the customer believes on the contents of the articles, they become interested to buy the product and interested to visit the site.
I don't spam blogs - i write comments with 2-3 lines. I try to start conversation, I represent my arguments. Spaming is writing crapy comments.
ITA.
Maybe it's just me, but I figure that if I'd write the comment even without a link it's not spam, but if I'm just writing something to get my link in it's spam.
It is a great idea but do blog comments is the form of spamming.
It depends on how you write your comment.

Probably but writing a good comment is better than a one liner comment and that's what you called the art of spamming

Depends on how you comment. If you say, "great". A one word comment, yes everyone can see it as spam. But if you comment with thoughts and authority, it's actually a great way to leach their visitors in coming to your website maybe even the owner of the site itself!

I guess if your comment is really off-topic, then that's spamming... A lot of people do that commenting on blogs with a non-sense or off-topic postings.

This one I think is really effective I created a thread consisting
of Link Exchange and I also included my blog through sig. Not only
I got traffic from it I also got a link exchange partner.
You are right. It is spamming if you answered the posts in words not in a two sentence, just like "nice blog". It is important that we comments on blog to related site.
