Is blogging for business "real" or calculated?

When you blog to promote your business do you blog about things because they interest you and you want to, because you looked for a topic that will interest your readers and point them toward your business, or some other reason?

i post a certain topic to a blog as to promote our business. We are not just promoting the site but research on the interest of the reader. Usually we create article based on the industry , the new technology and new information that reader usually visited.

It goes in both ways

You yourself must have an interest on what your doing for I believe that if you don't like what your doing you have a little chance to succeed on your field.

As well as be inline on what you think your reader will lay their interest to read on.

Niche specific blogs for businesses hump my face and have been proven to be successful, for me. Despite what all the popular people say, you don't have to be a fan of something to blog about it every day. Targeted baby, targeted, a blog is a perfect way to naturally collect long tail keyword traffic.

For me, blogs are just another way to drive targeted, prescreened traffic to my sales pages. A well written articles full of quality content can produce repeat customers and a steady flow of traffic, if promoted properly.
