How to make visitors post comments?
Hi,
I have a blog [link removed] and it is getting some traffic. Although most of the people send me an email saying that the post is good. But nobody posts a comment. How to make them post a comment?

Reason: linking to your site(s) outside of the Webmaster Marketplace is not allowed.

I think you can allow others to post a comment in your blog including their own link, but the risk is that they might spam your blog. But if your willing to take a risk then you can do it.

Hi, why not kindly asking them to do so? A message on your blog pages like "please leave comments if you like our blog, thank you"

You have a no follow tag in your comment maybe that's one of the reason why other people don't bother to leave their comments.

You must allow them to post comments. You can configure that from your blog settings...

Your posts need to be extremely good for people to say "Good post..Looking forward for more from you".
Or if you still want comments post a controversial topic and you can expect some comments.
You can also install the dofollow plugin which removes the nofollow tag for commentors and thus result in more amount comments (and spam)

Yeah, DoFollow your comments if they're important to you. Then the main thing you'll have to worry about will probably be being spammed out of existence.
It's also worth pointing out that even if someone makes a decent comment you should check the site they are linking to - you don't want to run into any 'bad neighborhood' issues with Google by linking to sex/gambling sites.

The nofollow attribute is one reason why people are not leaving a post in your blog.. change your blog comment settings

The Six million Dollar Man was my favorite show growing up. Brings back memories. I even had the action figure with the bionic parts and the magnetic eye. I used to pick on my sister with my action figure and her Barbie's.. LOL,I won't go into details.
Anyways... blogging

Most blogs used no follow so there's nothing to worry with spam..
An interesting content can make your readers to leave a comment, if they are really interested on what they have read, they will surely make a feedback on it no matter if your blog was in into no follow,..

To prevent spamming on your blog, set the blog comment to be moderated first. There you can select which comment will you publish or reject.

First you need some content reviews:
When people see, that some made reviews, they will post there comments there too.
You also can pay some people to post a public comment:
BTW when you need someone, who should make some public content comments,
i am there for you (say an offer.........)
Anyway, good luck!

People will comment if the content empowers them enough what you do not want is lots of crazy spammers bombarding you every day.

Or if the visitors really get pissed-off by the article , but I wouldn't recommend to write that kind of articles.

Taking nofollow out has gotten me a lot of spam comments with people who use keywords as the name.
One way to get your readers to comment is to ask them questions.
Also, I find people are more interested in commenting once there are already a few comment. You can agree to exchange comments with other bloggers. For example, they could comment each day on your blog if you comment each day on their blog. I'd do that if another blogger offered.

- Invite your readers to comment by asking a question at the end of your post.
- Do not cover the topic you are blogging about completely; leave room for your readers to elaborate.
- Blogging about a controversial topic is almost a guarantee to render comments, but it has to be a risk worth taking.
Best,
