I'm pretty new to the blogging world but have been having success with just doing the SEO basics (I'm getting about 50% of my traffic from SE's right now) and then Adwords. I'm keeping my limit down and still testing it out, but i'm using a voucher I paid $10.00 for to spend the $80.00 I now have in my account. I'm getting some traffic for very little investment.
