I'm using WordPress and they have an update services section, so when you publish a new post, WordPress automatically notifies the following site update services (and i just have a long list of ping services). Doesn't seem like I'm getting much traction from that, yet..

And when you said social bookmarks, which ones did you mean specifically??

Cool a fellow trail runner!! Find a blogroll for athletes to join. Also do the social sites for fellow runners.

I usually submit to social bookmarking site every time I update my blog.. Digg and propeller works well on me..

add traffic to you blog by submitting it to various search engine.
if you want to submit your blog just check my blog and under it check search engine option.

hmm..I've never set it up before, happen to know what's wrong?

There seems to be a space in the url (%20).

Something wrong with redirect you made when you was trying to redirect page /feed/ to feedburner.

Just go to wordpress theme editor and change line

As much as possible write good content, you can also use digg, stumbles etc, then get some links in related sites.

Social bookmarkings and regular update with unique content would be a big help. Also try submitting your RSS Feeds to RSS Feed Submission Sites...

Technorati, stumble every new article you write, social bookmarking, ping o matic, participate in related forums and use sig link, create videos and post to youtube with live link in description, comment on popular related blogs with link to your blog, write about and link to posts on other blogs that use trackback, think outside the box.
