Are you on EntreCard?

I've been using EntreCard since the beginning. I was one of the first 500 bloggers to sign up. There a definitely some perks and drawbacks. But I wanna know what you guys, gals, and in betweens think about it.

Entrecard is the best way to increase alexa rank. but we must active every day to drop any entrecard widget.

hello mas brokencode, i have some tips to fast drop.
just disable all image (except image from entrecard), audio, flash, youtube content on your browser and use powerdropping site at <link removed>. u can drop fast now.

I don't reach my 300 target like that. What I have done is dloaded the test file with 300 good blogs and bookmarked them by category. Opening up 3-4 categories at once in FF gets a good bunch going for me. I drop and close site as I visit. On occcasions where i may have dropped on a site already, I will subscribe to RSS feed or comment on a couple of posts.

I don't know how long it will last though.

People will just get to many EC points unless they get a way of getting users to spend as many as they earn.

I signed up but I'm not sure I fully understand it. Can anyone tell me what the benefits of using the widget are?

i use entrecard but the concept of that program is somewhat the same with traffic exchanges, you can't get loyal visitors (unless you content is quality)

Really confusing if its really useful in the long run. People have a mixed opinion here and I'm feeling too lazy to sign up!

Anyone can sign up for anything, including this forum, and then miss the boat. Entrecard can be the same way unless you think outside the box. EC gives you both the opportunity to post something of yours, your widget, on someone else's blog (and gain interest from that person's blog readers and visitors), as well as a perfect platform for finding other blogs to COMMENT ON.

Broken into categories, you can surf along, dropping cards and COMMENTING to your hearts content. Our blogstats shows numerous visitors daily to our blog. Of course, when they get there, you've got to "give them the goods" something worth staying to read and interact with.

And, yes, you get people who really don't have a clue and do nothing but drop and run. Too bad for them because the perfect opportunity to get some free marketing just slips through their fingers... duh

Use the system wisely and you gain... big time... in terms of real human beings stopping by your blog. Isn't that the aim of every blogger?!

To gain maximum traffic, you have to visit other people, not just drop your card and run. Entrecard (like all "social areas" including this one) means you have to really step outside the box and use the resource. EC's setup gives you direct access to blogs within different categories. Be it a cute picture of a puppy, or a political rant and rave, there are so many opportunities easily found by visiting and commenting on other people's blogs. Then the blog owner usually wants to see who you are, and his/her visitors (if your comment "stands out from the crowed") like to see who you are.

Granted what you give them when they arrive will make a world of difference, but at least they come

EC isn't a "traffic generator" (or 10 years ago called "startpage") system where you mindlessly watch other people go by.

If you don't move outside the realms of the inner workings of Entrecard, you're missing tons of free marketing opportunities.

I'm using it on one of my multiples of blogs but I'm not promoting it enough to have any impact yet. I'm sure it will be one of those promotional sites that will peak and slowly fall after being sold out.

Just my 2cents, but hopefully it will last and provide some real traffic instead of people just showing up to drop their card for a blog I care nothing about.

Furthermore there are VIRUSES on a number of blogs like BUX blogs that are trying to steal from advertisers and promote actively on those sites. It's easy for them to do because a lot of those bloggers are just trying to earn a cent and are not familiar with how online businesses work and dont' see the face of the person they are stealing from.
