i guess your getting few comments because people need to be login first before they can leave a comment and most people dont have a wordpress account so they dont register and decided not to leave a comment.

I haven't visited your blog but are you asking questions or for readers opinions?

It's okay writing quality content but if you do not engage your readers then they will not comment.

As for adding 'do follow' that's not a good idea because the quality of the comments will be poor.

I don't leave comments on any blog that I have to login to so bear that in mind.

If your blog is good enough people will leave comments.
