Select topics that interest you and on which you can write comfortably

2)Link your posts
Try giving a list six or seven links to information related to your topic

3)Be clear and simple

Nice tips. i think submitting to search engines is not useful anymore. search engines will find and index your blog though backlinks anyways so its just waste of time to submit to them.

According to my opinion for a good search engine the site submitting is absolute unnecessary. If you have quality back links your site will be crawled automatically by the famous search engines.

Yes, this is what I have found, too. Also, quick blogs on Squidoo, Wordpress and Hub to get it started then linking out to the new blogs on other servers (or your own).
