have any one try Blog with website. like: www(dot)abc(dot)com/blog/

Is this useful for traffic? And please explain how i can add this on website. I want to use blogspot.

it doesn't mean that if you use wordpress you instantly get lots of traffic. you can use any blog application as long as you are comfortable using it personally im using blogger much more user friendly than wordpress. you can increase traffic by simple doing promotion and link building is a good advantage too to get PR.

i have experience on having a this blog 3 years ago..
i don't feel any useful for traffics or SEO..
it is just some kind of recognition only...when people see it, then they will know it is a blog..

I have noticed since I have added the blog to my site the spiders come more often to crawl and get the new info.
