dofollow or noffollow blogs or can i have both?

I am aware of the pros and cons of having a dofollow blog. I just want to know if can i have both? I mean dofollow and nofollow.

Whatever link you want to be a nofollow, just put this code in front of it rel="nofollow">

Here is an example <a href="/support.html" rel="nofollow">Support</a>

It will seems to be useless if it's already been declared as a no follow at first place in the meta...even if you put a do follow on you link..it's useless...

But the author did not state whether the blog is a follow or nofollow did they?

From the authors question I am going to guess they already have an understanding of the follow / nofollow concept. The author of this thread did not even say what or where the blog is hosted, so they may not even be able to change the header if they wanted.

I do not see my post as "useless" when so little information is known.

I think do follow will bring more traffic into your blog. So better go for that...

I think what you are looking for is a Wordpress plugin called "Nofollow Case by Case" it lets you make some links nofollow and others not. If that is too much effort for you, there are plugins, that make the links do follow, after x comments. So say someone has left 5 comments then their comments start becoming do follow.

Ya, you can always change the links manually on the blog if you want one as nofollow. SO yes you can have both, just as rejeanamorrise said. If you planning on having some as dofollow I would think about installing a mod wordpress or what ever blog your using and then manually do a nofollow on the ones you don't want. Or you could always right some sort of script you're self that would make them all nofollow expect specific posts/comments you select.

I didn't know about that. Could be a good way to give a little link love to frequent flyers of your site as long as they're not obviously spamming.
