Bloggers: Why do you blog?

Its fun and a way to share with others what I find interesting.

I do it mostly to keep myself busy. Since I've finished school I miss writing essays and such, so I took up blogging. I really enjoy reading a bunch of material and then trying to condense it, making it more concise.

Also, I enjoy the challenge and competition. Competing for keywords online is like the nerdy version of gladiators competing in the Colosseum. Well, maybe note quite - but close.

I like your reason why you are blogging. But why not to apply as an article writer to get at your interest.? Maybe you should try that one.

Agree with Dirky.. If writing is really your passion, being an article writer is a great career..

Speaking of being an Article writer, If it's not your interest, it's too hard to shift your career. Just like me... I became an article writer in one week and it makes me sick!

Yes, it's really hard. But if you exert much effort on this through researching and reading a lot then your hard work will soon be paid off...

Good for relieving feelings and knowing that your anonymous. It's also a great way to document certain aspects of your life.

It amazes me that people Blog and it amazes me even more that people read the blogs. But then again people watch some total rubbish on the TV!

Blogging is supposed to be a good way to get some traffic and some backlinks, but I don't have the time or the will to do it.

Are there people out there that blog about other peoples sites?

Blogging is more than a hobby for me. Aside from it publishes my articles for free and share my ideals and philosophy to other internet users, it gives me some reasonable revenues (financially speaking).

Some starters said that after they used Adsense in their blogs, they received incomes already that can pay-up their monthly bills like electricity or water bills - which I say is true.

Well.. It's good to hear that you are earning through your blogs. I'm earning too at my blog but sad to say I've haven't receive my Adsense pin yet having 150$ right now.

I'm not much of a blogger so my blog is not regularly updated, but I do blog to improve my writing skills. Some would comment on my articles about how I write, and I change that on my next post to make my readers happy

Now that most of you mentioned about earning money from blogging, I think I may have to go on that one too

I blog because not only is it a great way to attract visitors to my site... but because I enjoy writing... I love sharing my expertise... and it helps build a relationship with a community of people interested in my topic.
