comments like hi, hello, nice post... are some of the spammy comments you will see everywhere.

Spammy comments are normally short and irrelevant. The prime objective
is to display links.

To me there are two types of spammy comments.

#1 - Blatant Spam - Just links to your website or affiliate deals, or the comment "Hi" or "Nice Post".
#2 - Worthless Spam - These are comments that are disguised to look like they have value, but truly don't. Like when someone responds with the most general information that every person in the free world understands. Like: "I agree, Wordpress is the best." or "Yes, I think getting backlinks is important."

Sometimes the second type of spam is even more annoying than the first.
